In the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak and following a country-wide shutdown, Meesh (our sweet little Flower Child), began to expand her style and wardrobe to include vintage pieces from bygone eras. An appreciation for hearty full-grain leather vintage handbags arose. She has perfected the rehabbing, cleaning and conditioning process to provide only the best of what each vintage piece has to offer. What's better, she began to understand how the secondhand industry has far less impact on the environment compared to purchasing cycles brought on by modern and often lower quality branding. She has a unique fashion aesthetic AND gets to help out the planet - that's a WIN-WIN! Further, she has gained experience reselling pre-loved and locally sourced vintage clothing and accessories.

Why Coach?
​
Early Coach handbags were skillfully made from hearty, full-grain leather that is guaranteed to last many lifetimes. In the 1950’s, Coach manufactured men’s wallets using natural leather that was tanned for the production of baseball gloves. Later, their handbags were also crafted from this same leather - a quality material made specifically for repeated use that only gets more tough, worn-in and beautiful over time. It is colored with a mix of opaque aniline dyes and conditioners to allow for natural creases, pores, scars and grain to remain visible. Coach produced handbags with this leather by founding designer, Bonnie Cashin until 1974. However, Cashin's legacy has remained a staple in Coach's later collections where pulls of inspiration can even be seen throughout many of their handbag designs today.
